  • Pumpjack Festival: Coming 1st Saturday in April
    The Festival is an annual celebration to commemorate the history
    of Electra, Texas. For a look at the very first "Pumpjack" festival
    follow this link

  • Our chili cookoff 1st Saturday in April in conjunction with the Pumpjack festival
    is sanctioned by the
    Chili Appreciation Society International, Inc
    and is subject to their rules in cooking and judging. Prizes for chili, you may also
    participate in the jackpot bean and/or salsa contest. Good times galore.

  • Christmas Parade :
    Held the Saturday after Thanksgiving each year in downtown Electra, with live
    entertainment, parade, award presentation and angel lighting ceremony. The
    parade, entertainment and activities for the 2007 parade were recorded for
    the time capsule to be opened in 2057.

  • The Gig under the Rig:
    Held the 1st Friday in the month of May, June, July and August.
    Live music and entertainment under the rig behind the police station.
    This is in and adjacent to the parking at the State National Bank, Electra.
